This paper provides an overview of the concept of social integration in the health field, assessment tools, the current status of social integration in cancer patients and the influencing factors, and intervention methods.Nursing interventions on social integration in cancer patients include supportive psychological interventions, behavioral therapies, narrative therapies, and social media interventions. It is proposed that the level of social integration in cancer patients is closely related to their health outcomes, and the tool for assessing social integration in cancer patients should be developed in line with the cultural characteristics of our country, patients at high-risk for poor social integration should be screened, and targeted measures should be taken to promote the social integration of patients.
