Abstract:Objective To analyze the current situation of flourishing in postoperative patients with thyroid cancer and its influencing factors,providing references for healthcare providers to take targeted measures to enhance the level of flourishing of patients.Methods Based on the framework of flourishing theory,potential influencing variables were selected.A total of 362 postoperative thyroid cancer patients were investigated by the general information questionnaire, the Flourishing Scale (FS), the Self-Compassion Scale (SCS), the Cornor-Davidson Resilience Scale (CD-RISC), and the Perceived Social Support Scale (PSSS).Results The score of flourishing for postoperative patients with thyroid cancer was (39.13±3.44).The score of flourishing was positively correlated with self-compassion, resilience, and social support (all P<0.05).Multiple linear regression analysis indicated that monthly family income,131I therapy,self-compassion, resilience and social support were the influencing factors of flourishing in postoperative patients with thyroid cancer (all P<0.05).Conclusion Postoperative patients with thyroid cancer exhibit a moderate level of flouri-shing.Healthcare providers should pay more attention to the patients with lower monthly family incomes and those who receive 131I therapy, and improve their self-compassion, resilience and social support, so as to improve the patients′ flourishing level.
