Abstract:Objective To construct a leadership training program suitable for clinical nursing context for nursing managers, so as to improve their leadership.Methods Based on the leadership competency model, a leadership training program for nursing managers was constructed after systematic literature review and survey of leadership training needs for nursing managers, combined with re-levant guidelines and Delphi expert consultation.Results Twenty-one experts participated in the consultation.The expert authority coefficients of the two rounds of consultation were 0.907 and 0.918, and the Kendall coordination coefficients were 0.191 and 0.203, respectively (both P<0.05).The leadership training program consisted of 6 first-level indicators (evidence-based leadership, conflict management and disposal, efficient management, decision-making and execution, nursing innovative leadership, emotional intelligence cultivation), 26 second-level indicators and 59 third-level indicators.Conclusion The leadership training program for nursing managers is reliable and practical, which can provide a reference for leadership training for nursing managers.
