Abstract:Objective To understand the current status of hospice telehealth care readiness in Hunan province, and analyze its influencing factors, so as to provide theoretical basis for the construction of hospice telehealth care service system.Methods A total of 245 medical staff from 56 remote multidisciplinary cooperative alliance units in Hunan province were selected by convenience sampling method, then they were investigated by a general information questionnaire, the Telehealth Readiness Assessment Tools (TRAT), the Innovative Behavior Inventory (IBI) and the General Self-efficacy scale (GSES).Results The participants scored 68.40±8.90 for telehealth care readiness, 84.95±10.03 for innovative behavior, and 27.27±6.67 for general self-efficacy. The results of multiple linear regression analysis showed that occupation, whether or not they had paid attention to telecare-related platforms or services, innovative behavior and general self-efficacy were the influential factors on the telehealth readiness of hospice care medical staff in Hunan Province (all P<0.05).Conclusion The telehealth readiness of hospice care medical staff in Hunan province is at a moderate to high level.It is suggested that relevant managers should take corresponding measures according to the influencing factors of telehealth readiness, improve the level of telehealth readiness of medical staff, and improve the quality of hospice telehealth care service.
