Abstract:Objective To improve the resilience of adolescent suicide patients in emergency department, and prevent them suicide again. Methods A total of 158 adolescent suicide patients were randomized into a control group (n=78) and an intervention group (n=80).The control group received routine psychological nursing, while the intervention group received graduated exposure combined with guided psychological intervention, and the effect was evaluated at discharge. Results After the intervention, the score of the Positive And Negative Suicide Ideation, the Self-rating Anxiety Scale and the Self-rating Depression Scale in the intervention group were significantly lower than those in the control group, while its score of the Adolescent Resilience Scale and each subscale score were significantly higher than those of the control group (all P<0.05). Conclusion Graduated exposure combined with guided nursing can reduce adolescent suicidal ideation, relieve anxiety and depression, improve psychological resilience, and prevent adolescent suicide again.
