Abstract:Objective To summarize the experience of giving online teaching to nursing interns working in department of urology amid normalization stage of COVID-19 pandemic prevention and control, and to provide reference for clinical teaching under special circumstances. Methods A total of 127 nursing interns who had been working in department of urology for one week after rotation which occurred in July to August in 2020 were taught online through live streaming: an online teaching group was established, online courses were designed by the group, then multi-form online teaching and assessment, etc., were delivered. Results The attendance rate of nursing interns in online classes was 100%, the comprehensive examination score was (82.41±6.53), with the pass rate being 100%, and the teaching quality score was (95.51±3.03), with the pass rate being 100%. Conclusion Amid normalization stage of COVID-19 pandemic prevention and control, online teaching reaches satisfactory effect, lays a good foundation for offline clinical practice, and effectively reduces negative impact of the pandemic.
