Objective To explore a rapid training mechanism for personal protection in radiology department during the COVID-19 epidemic, and to enhance protection skills of workers. Methods Based on the work scope and responsibilities of the post, hierarchical training regarding COVID-19 knowledge, protection skills, rules and regulations, and work process were provided for doctors, nurses, technicians, assistant workers, cleaners, and security guards.Online teaching with Tencent classroom, self-directed lear-ning with WeChat, on-site protection skills practice, and scenario-based simulation training were conducted. Results All workers passed the training and were qualified on their posts. Conclusion Hierarchical training can shorten the training time and prevent cross infection.
